    Some Letter Ideas

These are probably pretty universal but take them and go crazy Or twist them up with some creative flair!

    1. X number of things I love/miss about you.
    2. My favorite memory
    3. Top X things I want to do with you when I see you again (From G to X rated *wicked grin*)
    4. A synopsis of your week
    5. The cutest thing about you is (One for me to use, Yay!!!)
    6. Song lyrics with why the song makes you think of your SO
    7. A video letter (record it with a webcam or any thing that makes moving video, then burn to dvd!)
    8. A story starring the two of you (you don't have to be a great writer, just shoot from the heart..edit a bit, and send a hand written copy...Major sweetness points!)
    9. A photo collage movie (take a bunch of photos, some music and add some effects and titles and stuff..then burn to DVD!! Windows has Windows Movie Maker already installed, so us PC users don't have to look for softwear to make this Probably some free DLs out there too if you google)
    10. A "contract" (take and write up like a legal contract--but without too much fancy lawyer-y wordage- what you will give to your love, what you expect in return, the period the contract is good for...etc. Be sweet and romantic with it and it might make them tear up LOL)

I think 10 is a good place to stop and I gave myself some good ideas! Hope someone else can make use of these A few were some I remembered from posts on the old forum, but I can't remember which ones or who the original poster was.

      1. Write a poem
      2. Mention your favorite thing you have recently done from a distance.
      3. Draw pictures in the margins
      4. Send a picture in it
      5. You could write the story of your relationship--in a series of letters so that it does not get too long. For example, one could be how you met. Others could be about your first date, your first kiss together, your x anniversary. I think it would be interesting for your SO to read these from your point of view

        These are all GREAT ideas!

What about writing little notes on post-its that they can stick around the house? My bf and I always do this at visits, but it would also work by sending them through the mail.

This is a great idea, I actually already brought some heart shaped post-its to write little notes on to send along with letters and such .

I had another one I am still working on. One of the dollar stores in this area had paper with a red border that had stars cut out (sort of hard to describe). I bought that and am going to print on them. The top of what I have designed says "top 10 reasons you're my favorite superstar" in a circle, but the word you're is in the center. And, of course, there are 10 numbered lines to write in the reasons.

I think this would be cool even without the pretty paper...one could add star stickers or even pictures of stars....

I love all these ideas. Thanks everyone.
Love is patient and kind. It does not envy or boast; is not proud, rude or self-seeking. Love is not easily angered and keeps no record of wrongs. It does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. Love always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.

Some wonderful ideas here, certainly helpful since our anniversary is a month away and I really want to be able to do something really good for it and have time to send it so it gets there for the day as it will take at least a week to get there.

You've certainly given me some great ideas to start with. I'll post any I think of along the way. =)

I have printed out on a simple sheet of paper, one of our wedding pics and used the back of it, as stationary. He has saved every little note that I have written him. At the end of the year, we will make a book out of our love note and letter.

I think I'm going to use your idea of making a story starring me and my SO, it's for his birthday I hope you don't mind
"We are just two kids in love" <3

I love taking post-its with me and hiding them in his drawers/cabinets and such and then seeing his reaction on Facetime when he finds them later on when im gone =]
