    Things that could accompany letters!

A while back I posted a topic on the old forum asking for ideas of things to accompany letters that can fit in a standard envelope. I thought that I would list some of the ideas that were given within that thread (sorry, I can't remember who shared each idea to be able to give you the credit) as well as some other ideas, hope it will be of use to some of you!

    Here they are:
    • Photos of yourself
    • Photos of people important to you (so your SO can put a face to the name and remember who you are talking about)
    • Photos of your home and other places you talk about
    • Small meaningful charms/tokens
    • Random interesting facts cut out of magazines or newspapers
    • Comics cut out of magazines/newspapers (or you can even make your own!)
    • Brochures from events/places you've visited or could visit together together
    • Maps of where you live/house floor plan
    • IOU notes/love coupons
    • Magnets (either store bought or you can make your own)
    • Keyrings
    • Small photo keyring
    • Bookmarks
    • Keepsakes such as ticket stubs, receipts, etc
    • Small piece of fabric with your perfume on it (you could even make it hear shaped)
    • A small flashdrive (you could fill it with photos, songs, videos, etc)
    • Recipes
    • Wallet/pocket cards (store bought or make your own)
    • Postcards
    • Laminated kiss (put on some lipstick, kiss a piece of paper and laminate it for durability)
    • Origami
    • A small puzzle with a message on it (you can make your own by writing a message on paper, laminating it and cutting it into pieces)
    • SD memory card (you can fill it with pictures, videos, songs, etc)
    • Stickers
    • Post-its with little messages on them
    • 'Love Knows No Distance' bracelet

Feel free to share any ideas you have!

You might need a larger envelope for this one, but...
George loved the international heart I sent him for one of our monthversaries!

        Recipe for Large International Heart:
        1. Red/Pink Construction Paper
        2. Google -- This site will help: https://festivals.iloveindia.com/val...-love-you.html
        3. Crayons/Markers/Colored Pencils
        4. Some Time.

        - Cut out one large heart, or you can cut out a few medium size hearts.
        - Look online for how to say "I love you" in different languages
        - Write whatever language you like on that one big heart or on each small heart! Don't forget to use different colors!

Because no one likes a folded heart, I suggest the larger envelope to keep it flat and pretty. With a little time and some creativity, you'll have a heart telling your SO "I love you" in so many ways!

Yesterday, I printed out LFAD stationary and looked for a good lemon cake recipe. The recipe was long and titled lemon cake with lemon frosting and lemon filling. Bonita obviously loves lemon. I hand wrote the recipe on the pretty stationary and laminated it. I cannot wait to hear how it turns out. Hopefully its something she is going to keep forever (if the cake comes to be worth making again, that is).

i really like having a personalised stationary, and special things i only use for our correspondence. i find it really fun to think about the things you used to like to do as a kid and apply that to your adult letters
i never were a big fan of stickers and glitter, but ive always loved ink stamps : ) so ive been making my own and i love using them : D
ive been carving them in soft erasers which are cheap and easy to come by. all you need is an exacto knife, a marker and unleashing your creativity : D

                heres a useful link

Don't be dismayed at goodbyes. A farewell is necessary before you can meet again.
And meeting again, after moments or lifetime, is certain for those who are friends.

One of the things i sent my bf was an ID bracelet with his initials on it, and on the back , i had engraved a message that told him i will love him forever I also gave him a lock of my hair, and he keeps it in his wallet Sometimes i feel like I'm in a movie its cool Hope these ideas help

I've started using stickers in our journal, but not in letters ...yet. But I sent him a packet of love heart stickers in his Valentine's Day card.

Stickers and glitter are SO much fun. But your stamps sound great! If I have time, I may do some...

This is a very helpful list! I already sent a love letter satchel (what better way to send a love letter?), a bracelet and a recipe; for homemade lemonade. My SO also just sent a usb stick in the mail. We are going to fill it with videos, photos, movies, music and stuff like that.

You're probably going to need a package for this but here is what i did:
I took a jar and some red paper and then i cut out hearts. A heart for each day we had been together, around 240 at the time. Then i wrote I love you in different languages on some of them and some inside jokes on some others of them. Or just put all the hearts in a envelope and let them open it, i am sure that would be amusing.
I am going to send of my graduation hat the next time around. So she can have something else of mine.
