Gifts ideas for my boyfriend (almost teen)

    Hi everyone ! ~ ♥

First of all, I'm (almost) 16 yo and do not have a lot of money saved (since I don't work, obviously) for my boyfriend's birthday. He's turning 18 in August (we're 2 years apart) and I still dunno if we'll be able to meet or not ... Well, the situation is a bit difficult and the only thing I know yet is that, if we really meet, it will not be for long (at least 3 days) and it may not be only us (something like a birthday party probably, or at our friend place). So the plans I first had were compromised ... My boyfriend is quite the "cute" type, and is quite romantic as well. So I bought him a cute little plush of his favorite animal that I will spray with the perfume he offered me, and am going to make him the mailable slice of cake (that I found on this forum, thanks !), but this only isn't enough ... I really want my boyfriend to love his presents 'cause the one he gave me were really something :3 so I'm looking for cheap things, like DIY that could make my present awesome !
According to our situation, the XX things I like about you and Open when letters are out of question ... and I got no pictures of us together (we always forgot to take some x') !) so do you guys still have some ideas ? :$

Ah ! and he doesn't really have a hobby he's into with all his soul so this doesn't help :3

I've made a heart-shaped box and decorated it with chiffon flowers that I also made myself. Filled it with a mass of tiny messages on tiny sheets of paper (about a hundred, or probably more) that I soaked with black tea, let them dry and burned on the edges to make them look kinda worn out. I wrote the messages and rolled these pieces of paper into cute rolls tied up with strings. In the messages I wrote short comments about the things I love him for and some "dirty" stuff I wanted to share with him, but I couldn't say. At the bottom of a box, under the heap of paper rolls I placed a special gift (can't say what it was, it's kinda personal). It shouldn't be expensive - a souvenir, a photo or some everyday object that can hint on your feelings. You can also mix the rolls with lollipops, jellybeans or chocolates. That's not expensive, but extremelly cute!
