Update
Hey everyone! It's been awhile since I've been on here and posted anything
Here's an update about what's been going on:
First off, SO and I have been together physically for 1 year! Next, we had applied for the partner visa in August of 2016 and since about October 2016, we officially moved out of his parents' house and we are currently living with some friends. It's been so nice and we absolutely love it! We got a puppy together on our 5 year anniversary. Things have been going really well.
Also, about a week ago I got an email regarding my visa. I was successfully granted the temporary partner visa!!!!
Now all we have to do is wait for the permanent partner visa and I'm hoping it won't take as long as it says the processing time is. It's still early in the year, but that's been the highlight of the year so far!! Now we're planning a trip to the states to visit my family sometime near the end of the year.
I'm still adjusting to being here and it's definitely hard, but things have been going really well and I'm really happy!
