    Our world

Thought I should share this, It's not as good as my other ones but I do try and its the thought that counts right?
this was a present to her on her birthday (today) along with other gifts

This sensational feeling on my lips
    It seems like a treat
A thousand times sweeter than an angel
As I move in, I embrace
With every inch closer my heart guides me,
To a land full of love and endless grace
Where our souls sing all through the night
My arms, wrapped around you like vines
I am reluctant to let go and lose that warmth
A million things for you I would do,
A death but you would be in my very last sight
Then I would perish and fade away with my last breath
That would release my endless love for you.

    The love we both share
The sacrifice of beauty and love
Is what I shall not give up on
It’s like a crystal, precious and may shatter
But at the end of the horizon
    Is a hot sunset
I am hungry for that kiss,
That sends a strange sensation through my veins,
It sends my blood into flames, my heart is on fire,
    You’re the supplier.
I admire all this you are what I adore,
I can’t help but cherish, I love you more
You and your beauty, is what I desire.

    I love you
it's weird because we had a big fight in the morning today (i wrote the poem on Friday night) and when she saw the poem, she acted like the big fight never happened...am I confused or something?

the poem is very powerful but it feels sad in a way - not a happy love, like a longing and a sacrificing love - just my take on it. Very deep poem

edit - maybe she had time to cool off after the argument? that coupled with your devoted poem might have lightened her view on the argument you guys had.

well when I was writing it I did feel quite depressed and alone which probably mixed in with my feelings (not a good time to write a poem for her birthday) I don't know.
Thanks for the feedback, it really helps me especially when it's honest :')

well yeah you're right, we didn't speak for about 11 hours until now when she got the poem. I'm actually confused about it though :/
