    Prepaid LD Phone?

    Hey guys!
    So my wonderful SO and I mainly use Skype to keep in contact throughout the day, but most of the time I am on the move (I am a Junior in college so I am pretty busy!) and I don't have WiFi. I have a data plan but as most you who use skype on your phone know, Skype eats data so hard! So, what I was wondering is if any of you have had success in finding a prepaid phone that will let you text/call long distance, internationally. He is in the Netherlands and I am in the US. I am looking for something that would cost maybe around 30-50$ a month for us. I have asked him to look into it but because he's a typical man it's not very high on his to do list! Thanks so much in advance guys!!!

    Try here. They have decent service for the US. No idea about the Netherlands.

      Try here. Phones are pretty cheap too. Although if they aren't, go to Ebay or Amazon.

            Awesome all of these will be super helpful! I see what kind of things he will have there. He uses a cheapo prepaid phone (it doesn't even have a camera!), he refuses to upgrade.

              My boyfriend used to have a cheap phone without camera, what we did was that I bought him a phone (or rather, sendt him money to get one). We used a couple of weeks to research the best phone. He has a prepaid phone deal, we also have internet in our Turkish flat so he uses that a lot. I have a regular phone deal because I had prepaid phone deal for years and I am sick and tired of that (and it does not really pay off since I don't have a stationary phone as well anymore).
