So I think I might be addicted to mailing my Hattie things. The first time was mid-April when I sent him a birthday card. I drew all over that poor card and the envelope and he loved it. Second time was a couple weeks later when I mailed him a plush anatomically-correct beating heart (it beats when you shake it) as a late birthday present. Last week I bought us matching brown Love Knows No Distance bracelets (he got his Monday, mine's not here yet) and today (or yesterday considering it's 1 am Thursday morning) I sent him a box of tea I found at TJ Maxx that smelled really good and said it tastes good with liquor or milk mixed in, both of which he likes to do. Blech, just a teaspoon of honey in my Earl Grey, thanks. I also, uh... cut off a lock of my hair and held it together with one of my favorite bobby pins (we have an inside joke about my love of bobby pins) that has a felt red and blue flower attached. I put it in one of those plastic jewelry bags that you can close like a ziploc bag and taped it to the box before I wrapped it up. I think my reasoning was to give him a piece of me, but now I think I'm creepy. XD Oh well, we're both weird and he's talked about mailing me his boxers before.
He'll hate me in a couple weeks. Making a Father's Day card as a joke since he joked about making me a Mother's Day one that marked my ovaries as his. We're dysfunctional, I swear.
