Basically exactly two years ago is when Nix & I started talking. Well, texting. After one outing before we both left for the winter break our last year at school, we began texting. All kinds of crazy texting. 4,000 texts over a three week period. His family laughed at us (my family tried to convince me it wasn't a good idea to date him) and we didn't care. He finally asked me out on a date... But that's not the point of this blog.

The point is that 2 years later I returned to where the text flood began.... and I found my wedding dress!!!!!! I don't think I can post pictures of it yet, since I am posting this from my phone. But I'll do so after I get back. I can't bring it home with me, but that's okay. I bought the sample dress so it was on sale (win!) and the salon is going to have it cleaned & make any minor repairs before they ship it directly to me. So it will probably be about 4-5 weeks before I have it in my hands, but that's okay. I don't need to worry about getting it fitted until about August or so anyway, so I have plenty of time. I'm just so excited!!!

Now the big things we have left to do are sign the catering contract, find a DJ (& sign the contract) and find the photographer (& sign that contract). But I think we're ahead of/on schedule, so I'm not worried.

Anyway, it's dinner time here so I better go. I just wanted to tell you guys!!!
