Because it was hair cut day. Not just your ordinary "walk-in" or "regular" hair appointment either. Full-on curly specific hair cut. And even though it was an $80 expense (before tip) it was so worth it. Oh my gosh. And for as frequently as I get my hair cut, I can afford to splurge a bit. If I set aside $25 a month, I'll be able to afford 2 hair cuts a year, and have some left over, which I will probably use on hair products, let's be real. I think I've posted a few pictures here before but... I'll do the before and after anyway. Because I know you want to see it.
this is so my face doesn't appear in your blog feed.
so is this.
and this.
and this. because I know I'm pretty but no one needs to see my face in the blog feed.
Before the big chop
aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaand
after!
And here's the back
Travis, my new stylist, is magic. Seriously, he is the best thing ever to happen to my hair and now I'm stuck and I was afraid this would happen, lol. He said he normally doesn't do something so drastic the first time he meets a client... but he could tell I was serious about chopping it all off. There was so much hair on the floor, it looked like a small animal exploded or something. Aaaaaaaaaaanyway. That's all I've got. Yay! New hair!

MB: I had to go through years of terrible haircuts, and then through the stylist that did my wedding updo I found the products I've been using for 2 years now. And through their website, I discovered there are curl-specific hair cuts. And the curlyhair subreddit inspired me to do a big chop, and pay a cringe-worthy amount.
