It gave me some kind of concrete hope that it’s going to happen soon. Plus it was one of those things that you would have in a CD and I think those are one of the best moments. Last month he decided that he wants to come here for Easter and we started talking about my birthday trip in May as well. We then decided that the best way would be for me to go to England with him after Easter and stay as long as I would like.
Obviously, one bigger bump is Brexit. That doesn’t affect me as of yet, but I still want to research in advance as much I can. The negotiations haven’t even started yet, so it’s fairly difficult to know what kind of paperwork I would need in the future, but I did find some sort of forms that I could fill within the first three months of moving to secure my position even a tiny bit.
The second bump is fairly minor, and it’s his living situation. BF’s little brother and bro’s wife still live with him. They were supposed to start looking for their own place right after their wedding, but as far as we know, they haven’t even started yet. BF said yesterday that we’re not going to wait forever while them two are douching around, and I’m free to move there whenever I want. I just find it difficult to live with two “strange” people. They’re very nice as a person, but the house is quite small and you obviously can’t roam around completely freely when there are other people there. And they have their friends around at least once a week, which makes it even more awkward. We have one bathroom, guys!
And me being introverted makes it worse.I absolutely love the fact that we have talked this topic through and finally have some sort of plan. I’m just not sure if I’m ready to live with all of them. I definitely want to close the distance as soon as possible and I’m not going to wait for ages anymore, I just wish that we would have our own space already.
I asked him to ask them what their schedule is to have some sort of idea of things to come. We’ll see!
