my So loves his xbox.
And sometimes when he talks and games I do my homework to distract myself but other times I just want to talk to him and he's gaming. Or watching TV.
Thats the every other day thing he has going on. I don't know how to tell him to pay more attention to what I am saying he agrees when I tell him stuff but then I ask him what I just says and he doesn't know because he wasn't paying attention.
How do I tell him without sounding rude or annoying?
Because I know some girls don't mind it but I do.

#2sabby64 commentedOctober 18, 2010, 10:30 PMEditing a commentMy SO and I play Halo Reach on Xbox together every day, we're obsessed with that game. It's really fun We're usually on the phone while playing, and he finds I zone out alot. I've tried to get better at talking while gaming, but sometimes it's really hard to concentrate on two things at once. I'd talk to your SO, because I had no idea why Brandon was so mad at me until he finally talked to me, and now I make a conscious effort to talk to him even when we're gaming out. Nothing's going to get fixed unless you bring it up.

#3Kirschlein commentedOctober 19, 2010, 09:21 AMEditing a commentMy SO also has attention problems and i told him pretty normal. I said, please pay attention atleast sometimes or try it atleast. Well, in the end we have now our own 'important things' sessions. So we both just lie around and talk about the whole world and whats on our hearts. Just ask him nicely, its nothing rude or anything. o.o

#4Silviar commentedOctober 20, 2010, 05:19 PMEditing a commentTo echo Zeph, I completely agree. This is how it is with my SO and I. I think we're sort of trained to multi-task whenever at a computer, so it takes a lot of effort for someone to really sit and focus. We do the same thing Zephi recommended, and it works great for us.
