Lots of stuff's been happening so I might as well make a blog. I'm sure none of you care, but at least it's something to read!

So recently was my mom's birthday, and we decided to do stuff for it. So far we finally cleaned the entirety of the garage (A HUGE UNDERTAKING. We donated a LOT of stuff) and we're finally getting the van that hasn't worked in three years hauled off to donate. We really suck at doing things.
We also got our first ever mani-pedis! (All of us except dad obviously). I've never had nail polish last longer than five minutes, so this is neat! It's lasted a solid week now and only the ends of my thumbs have chipped. (And that's because I use my thumbs for everything ever) I wish I had an income cause I could get used to this Especially cause the place we went to is pretty cheap. That was the day before mom's birthday, and tomorrow is the last celebration for it where we're all (Me, mom, a longtime family friend, and my aunt too I think) are going to a hot spring spa type place! It's gonna be awesome!

My (Step)grandma finally found the title to the car we inherited from grandpa too, so we can FINALLY stop pretending we're not illegally driving it. (See? It's not just my family that sucks at everything like this, it's even my extended family!) So next on the schedule is getting it registered CORRECTLY, so it'll be ours and not grandpa's.

On the subject of cars, Tam got her permit. Neither of us felt like it until now, but now she has hers. She drives to band practice a lot which is good. Next year she can get a license, which should be a good thing. I still don't want one, but I know eventually I probably have to.

Tam's band also finally got to play a show, where they covered a Dream Theater song and had literally every technical difficulty imaginable, but it's still neat, and they have a bigger show soon where hopefully they actually can set up better.

Tam's in the back drumming. The video's not very great quality because our friend Mason had to film it with his phone (I REALLY WANTED A VIDEO) but it's still decent. It's also long, so don't feel too bad if you only watch like the first half.

We also bought furniture, cause ever since cleaning the garage, we decided to finally do the house how we want it. We spent three years with furniture our least favorite grandma threw at us, and now we got to toss/donate it, so it's time to replace it with better things. It should be here by Wednesday, though my new chair is here now
I also got new bed stuff, cause I got tired of my bed giving me back-aches, and my family got tired of me sleeping on the couch whenever Tam isn't here. Turns out all I needed was an extra slab of memory foam and some sheets that aren't from when I still went to High School.

Everything's going well for everyone, so I'm hoping it's my turn soon so I can have all my documents and crap together and finally get on with my life. It has to at this point!

Well...one thing isn't going well, but we're already moving on.
Today, literally right after we finished buying all mom's birthday presents, she forgot she set her iPad on the car. It was old, too slow, and had a cracked screen, but we were gonna replace it "eventually".
Today, I had to yell for dad to pull over as I watched it fly off the roof of the car, fall into heavy traffic in a busy intersection, and then get ran over as mom was running to get it. It did not survive.
RIP, mom's iPad. You served the family well and lasted quite a long time. You were the second-oldest electronic device in this house that still worked (We break stuff a lot :C) and you served your purpose.
...Now we are looking at tablets for mom's Christmas present.
