no one there was at least open about disliking interracial dating.
heres some of the stuff said
asians and whites are most likely to become in an interracial relationship with each other.
white men and black women are least likely
One guy said research shows if you go to church on a regular basis and you are religious than you are less likely to get into a interracial relationship.
I go to church almost every week, i disagree with this
there was also the point brought up that churches are not diverse enough, i agree with that 100% I there shouldnt be "white" churches or "black churches" there should just be churches for people to celebrate there diferences and learn more about god and grown in their faith!
the second speaker talked about white people , i really didnt like him it was mostly like putting down white people, at least as a white female thats how i felt.
he said at one point white people are born than become racist and have to learn how to not be like that. I disagree 100000% i havent ever "seen colour" People are people, you take off the skin and we all look the same.
3rd guy talked about how you dont really see celebrerties in interracial couples, but was quickly shut down and corrected haha.
in between all these they interviewed mixed couples (mine included!), mixed kids, people who strictly date in there race, and people who dont care the colour of another human being
overall it was interesting, however i personally did not agree with alot of what was said..
it ended with our reaction when a staff member was quoted saying " interracial dating is sickening and disgusting, i can not believe baylor would be encouraging such a thing, this is suppose to be a christian school." and the reactions of all the people interview, i am proud to say baylor naacp was PISSED that he would say such a thing.
thats how it went

thats kinda how we see it, race is just skin pigments, we just happen to look alittle different! haha
glad you enjoyed my recap of it all.
i am a born-again, Bible believing Christian, so is my boyfriend and this literally made my jaw drop.... unbelievable!! i love my boyfriend. his skin color means nothing to me. i embrace that he is of a different race. i can't believe someone would say that it is "sickening" or "disgusting".
PS someday i hope to have beautiful milato children.. not to show off that i'm in a (at that point) marriage with a black man. but to fulfill the commandment to be fruitful and multiply and to have some beautifully colored skinned babies!
