I'm sending my girlfriend a care package. I made a cryptex with a 5 letter code, everything else in the package will be clues to help her figure out what the code to the cryptex is. The first one is a small book of love poems that has a standard book cipher written in the front (numbers corresponding to page:line:word (e.g. 140:3:2)). The second clue is a bunch of love notes folded into hearts that fill up most of the rest of the box. One has a few boxes cut out of it and when you unfold it and line it up with the right page (in the package is also a playbill from a symphony we went to together, which is what that particular heart lines up with) only the correct letter is revealed.
So, I need some ideas for clues, ciphers, or puzzles for the other three letters. She rarely has access to internet so they can't be too difficult. I want the clues to remain fun and not get frustrating. Also if it helps, the code is KILIG, so have clues for the K and the first I.
