Anyone know anything about DRUM equipment??? need a B-Day present for my SO!
I have 1 month to come up with something for my SO, Chuck! Ok, I know there are a lot of Birthday Gift ideas already listed... but I'm on the hunt for something that Chuck can use when he's playing a gig or practicing on his drums.
My thought is to get some new Drum Sticks-- but there is like 20 different kinds of Sticks, wood types, and different tips and different coatings... and seriously! I'm totally lost! I sent him a text tonight asking him what he wants for his Birthday; but he hasn't replied to it yet! And I don't want to clue him in that I'm looking at drum sticks-- or something else I can find!
He had an old pair of drum sticks that he gave my son (along with a child size drum set) and those sticks are listed as 2B Maple... but not sure if that's what he is still using....
So if ANY one has any knowledge--- or knows someone who does... PLEASE HELP ME!
