So I've been lurking for ages, made a few posts, including one here to introduce myself actually.
But I haven't been here in a long time so I'm doing it again!
I just wanted to say thanks to the whole LFAD community. I spent an hour or two looking around the forums and occasionally commenting on things, and I realised with a shock after leaving, you all made me feel like my LDR was the normal way for things to be, instead of some weird thing that people didn't really do all that often. Reading countless stories of people closing the distance made me realise it's not this impossible far off thing that would only happen in a movie, but something real, that could actually happen to my SO and I. Reading the posts of people who just miss their SO, who would give anything just for a hug, couples who have never, ever taken a single day together for granted, and most of all, the people who share the same love as me, strong enough to put up with the pain of being apart for those precious few days together; all of it gave me hope, and faith.
So thank you, every one of you. You've made my night.
