Hello, everyone! My name is Keith (Maryland) and my SO is Amber (Texas). We met on a fantasy forum on February 11th of this year and connected very quickly. We haven't gone a day yet without being in near constant communication through texting, phone, or skype. It's not at all forced or boring. My favorite thing is when we're skyping but not actually talking. We're just doing our own thing like we would if we were together (on our phones, watching TV, listening to music, etc.), occasionally looking over to make kissy faces at each other, or actually talk if something comes to mind. I love it! I love her. This is my third relationship and I think I can safely say that I've never felt this way before. Not that I've never loved before, just not to this degree. It's intense.
We are interracial and fairly far apart in age (I'm black, 30 and she's white, 21), but that doesn't seem to matter at all. We have a lot of common interests, both very much still kids at heart, and are very open-minded. Our families know about us and our impending first visit and are supportive. Probably my favorite part about being in a LDR, besides Amber (), is getting to travel and see new places, and in turn, show her where I'm from when she comes up to see me. I've been to other states, but just along the east coast. I'm super excited about everything. This is my first LDR, and so far it's maybe the hardest, but also the best thing I've ever done.
