I met my partner 2.6 years ago, March 13th, 2021. Due to covid, she was unable to travel here, or I go to her. After covid, I arranged her visa but it took 12 months to process. We finally got it in June this year, 2023. She was booked to come in August, then I took ill and we postponed another few weeks. She was all good to be here in October but was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer late september. Now she is gone. We talked every night for all that time. A relationship like I've never known. What makes it even harder, is that we never physically met. But I've never been closer to anyone in my life. I love her, miss her. Numb and grief stricken.
