I don't really know what to do with this if I'm honest I know other folk have posted about their parents and their relationship but it's getting to me now!
My parents found out about my SO about 2 months ago now. I just told them the other day that I was away to spend the next 5 days or so with him when he comes up here and it's made my home life so awkward.
So much so my dad said to me the other day 'don't you think you should just finish him and keep us happy. Why would I have to trade in my happiness to keep them happy? I like my parents to be happy and stuff but surly I'm allowed to be too?
My SO's parents are completely fine with us being together so why can't mines be to?
