My boyfriend and I met on Instagram and have been talking for 6 months together for 3. I live in north Carolina and he lives in Kentucky. The only problem is my mom doesn't think it's a good idea to meet,but his parents are okay with it. How do I convince my mom?

Let your mum Skype with his parents, to hear their reasons for letting you meet.

How old is your SO? Have you skyped with him/talked on the phone/video chatted?

If your mom isn't okay with it, but his parents are, in my opinion...he should probably come to you so he can meet her too. Maybe put her mind at ease. Or have him Skype/talk on the phone with her.
