Have any of you studied in the UK as an international student (from outside the EU/EEA)?
Trying to help a friend find some information on sources of funding/loans but we're struggling. As a UK/EU student we can apply for a government student loan to cover tuition fees but trying to find something that international students can apply for. I'm really not sure how it works, do you have to get funding from your own country first? Google seems to be bringing up all sorts of mixed information so am looking for real experience please.
