My SO will be driving out to Phoenix to collect me from the airport. He has said he gets grumpy if he's driving for too long, so to that end I have a couple of ideas.
One is to make a CD for us to listen and sing to on the journey. We'll be driving for 3 hours each time. I already have a playlist of songs he sent me, and ones I sent him. My thinking being if I can somehow get those copied onto a disc, it could help ease the anxiety when we first meet, and also when we head back. We are also a pair of audiophiles, which is one of many things we have in common.
My other thought is to stop at his mum's house on the way back. It will be a way to break up the day, and hopefully prove as some type of distraction.
