I have lots of free time on my hand. it's a huge change from the pace I've been living at for the past 10 years! It's a welcome change though. I think I'd love to be a housewife, or work part time. In my line of work there's no chance of that happening though, so I'm going to try my best and savor every second of these 9 months I have; That and play the lottery!
So I've been trying out little projects, and mostly spending a lot of time in the kitchen. If you give me a choice, I'd spend my days equally between the market, the kitchen and the internet! not very good for my waistline, but it's ok..
Here's a peek at what I've been making lately, everything except the brioche is Gluten free too!
Greek special Easter treats and brioche like bread. Kourabieh and Tcheurek.

6-Baby Fever
Yup, Big time!! Both my SO and I are seeing babies everywhere, it's scary!! Well, scary and nice too. There isn't a week that passes where we don't talk about either kids, pregnancy or parenting. At least it's a good thing we're both looking forward to this, even if we still have a bit of a wait.
tldr; BABY FEVER!!!
and that's it for now..
xoxo
I'm glad instead of being bored you're filling your time with lots of fun stuff. Now I'm hungry...
So when can we expect another LFAD baby?
Rach, i used another recipe from the site you linked, didn't have the time to clean/chop/cook the spinach before stuffing the pork chops with it. it turned out great though, and i'll be doing it again as soon as i have enough breadcrumbs.
Nicole, slow cookers are AMAZING! I only use it about once a week but the possibilities with this thing are endless! the only trouble for me is resisting the smell! since I'm home most of the time when i use it, it's torture! this is the second time i slow cook a whole chicken. I find the need to fry it a bit in a pan or casserole before putting it in there because if not it will end up being as white as snow. it already tastes a bit like a boiled chicken, don't want it looking like that too hehehe. Most of the things i make in the Slow cooker are chili and stew like dishes. I've been wanting to explore making desserts, like creme caramel... yummy!
Lucybelle, I haven't started canning yet, only been making jams. the only "special" equipment i can think of is the jars used. If i'm making large quantities or something not for immediate consumption, i use jars like mason jars with a two part lid, and for canning we used to have these glass jars with a rubber thing between the body and the lid. i'll take a look online to find photos and i'll be back
LFAD baby for 2015 hopefully!
