Well, where to start? It has been a pretty eventful month! Here we go:
Work
What you're all waiting for (looking at you Lyonsgirl!).
I started working on March 3rd. It's crazy that it's been three weeks already!
The firm i'm working with is relaly nice. I've loved the feel when i went for my first interview, and both my interviews were wonderful; it felt like i was discussing nerdy things with friends, not strangers that will potentially be my bosses.
Little side story here. While actively searching for work, i came across a cragslist listing that described a very interesting position on a construction site in Beverly Hills. I emailed my CV, but with my SO's encouragement, we headed looking for the site for a live CV remittal. Well, the address given turned out to be an empty lot (whereas the project was supposed to have all the structural work already completed). So we looked for other sites on that street and found one that matches the description. I go into the site office and there's no one there. I head outside and ask one of the workers and he leads me into the site where i crash a site meeting with super, architect, contractor and subs, joy! The architect comes to me and inquires how he can help. Did i mention this was on the second floor of the house and i was on a site in casual city clothes?

He was supposed to be present for the first interview but had Jury Duty, so he was there for my second one. By then my previous interviewer and Mr. Big Boss already knew the story and it was hilarious when Mr. Architect was trying to remember why my face looked so familiar

Work is really interesting. Did I mention already how much I love what I do? It feels so awesome to be working again! I had truly missed it so much and it feels like i'm meeting up with an old friend

The office is medium sized (in my country's standard). We're 16 total , including admins. The space is amazing, and it's 45 minutes from my house BY FOOT!!
Ok I better stop now or else I won't :P
Prettiness:
I've had my first US haircut last week. They really needed a trim as it's been since august, so There was a lot of split ends and it was shedding a lot. The hairdresser shampoo-ed me and the sensation was out of this world! The product she used put a spell on me. I ended up breaking one of my rules and bought it. It's this one!
Today I treated myself to a man-pedi, and hopefully will have m eyebrows done this weekend too. This has been my "I got a job" celebration. You have to understand though; in Leb, it's pretty standard that you do all this very often, with all sorts of hair removal too. It's like a nice routine that even I, who is minimally involved in these activities and therefore a "bad"client, enjoy. Well, there's no chance of that happening here anytime soon unless i win the lottery! It's so expensive here!! Even though i've known this for ages, every time i go to pay it's a shock

oh, oh! My Tattoos have healed beautifully and I love them

Here are two pics, extra face in there for the haircut although keep in mund my hair is dirty and not combed. Yes, that's my natural "Saturday" look

There are so many things i'd like to talk about, but Soo (our flatmate) and I are going out for a little shopping therapy so the rest will be in the next episode.
Missing you all a lot!
Zephii you should be getting mail soon...
Love the tattoos! I am also on the "your hair is ridiculous" train. (A good ridiculous, if you haven't seen the YouTube video of the mad tv sketch, google it!)
In all honesty, it's all a matter of camera angle for the hair; and having it tied up just before
I'll post a really bad hair photo next weekend; bound to happen due to feminine reasons..
