For some people and to some extent, long distance relationship is hell.People in regular relationships don't get the whole idea and don't see any positive sides of LDRs.Damn even I at times want to sit down and cry because it seems...unfair,I guess.
However, there is indeed one incredibly strong benefit in LDR.It motivates you.It pushes you towards the limits you have not even imagined. It allows you to find your way out and find real solution to the problems. It stimulates you to make an effort in your life.
Every LDR has its own story,so keep going. You are already getting a lot out of it.

it's so worth it! I remind myself of that daily! My SO is my motivation. He's the reason why I work hard and do what I have to do! <3

#3hanabana commentedSeptember 5, 2013, 11:33 PMEditing a commentI agree with you. I think that LDR's build a different kind of relationship than that in a regular non-distance relationship. You appreciate the concept of time more, and making the most of it while you have it. You are more patient because you are forced to be. It gets difficult at times, but it is sooo worth it. I know that in a way this distance actually makes my boyfriend and I closer. We miss each other because we experience things throughout our day that we wish the other was there to experience. I think that if you're always together that missing your SO isn't something you go through. Anyways just my little input
