This is a rant that has been around for quite a while. See, for Slavic people, if you are not married in your 24-25, you are just a waste. You are a dishonor for your family and should be killed (or preferably kill yourself). So:
My aunt: God, you still ain't married. What about your friends? No? No? Girls, what are you doing with your life? *intense sobbing*
My mother: Your SO did not take you for a holiday and he did not buy you any jewelry. You just can't let him treat you like that. Have respect for yo self.
My friends: Did you hear about that girl who got married? And does your SO make any hints? No? Damn you are so unlucky.
And I am just sitting here, eating pizza with my SO and watching Sponge Bob episodes.

P.S. Today it was just enough, when my married friend sent me a text "lol i have sex and you don't"
I mean, please. You got your marriage paid by both families and they gifted you an apartment. For us, we don't even have damn place to cuddle (and have sex!), since my mother absolutely hates my choice and his family is 4 people in a tiny apartment.
So I don't know, I just kinda explode after all these talks.I don't want to be like other young families, when their wedding is paid, they are gifted a house or they live with parents and they are not capable to even pay for rent. I want our family to be independent and for sure I don't want to marry just for sake of marrying. Obviosuly I would not mind, but I also understand my SO (no money, no own place etc.) and all these questions seriously pressure me.
