A update? I feel like bloging. As of now I am playing the waiting game. I have officially applied to two colleges over in the UK. And both have emailed me back saying they have received my application and will get back to me soon. Will they deny me? Im hoping to get accepted in one over the other, but the other one is a back up plan... more expensive but still a culinary course. And possibly be the same school Nathan will be going to again. So im crossing my fingers hoping I get accepted! It would be at the end of this year, and I can't get started on the student visa process until i've been accepted in.
My main worry is the interview... since I am over here it will have to be a phone interview. I have never had a interview for college. I been to community college when I was 13, but that was so long ago, and my mom filled everything out. There were no interviews, and then I went again a few years back, but there wasn't a interview. So im nervous! But as I have said in a previous blog, this has been my dream. My mom found a letter of recommendation back in 2009 from the head executive of my school approving and recommending me to there junior college for a culinary course. (we moved sadly so didn't get to) So this isn't only to do to close the distance. Its just a huge plus :P But I have been wanting to go for so long, and I have been in the kitchen cooking for as long as I could remember. I know it was before I could reach the stove lol I would use a step stool. (Which is in no way safe...) So hoping and praying they accept me! And that I don't screw up the interview. Nathan says relax, there mainly just going to ask why I want to go. Has anyone applied to a college overseas?
Plus I loved it there, Scotland is beautiful, and I did feel at home, I know its not my home town, but I never felt odd or out of place. I really do want to go back.... and yes of course, I want to close the distance. If all goes as planned I will go there to study for a year, possibly two who knows, then a year or two later me and Nathan will come back and get married. Slowly working and saving up. Got a 3 year plan going.
On more recent news, less than 2 weeks till he comes. Picking him up at the airport, but since im getting a ride, i'll be up at 4am, and then waiting there at the airport for a good 4-5 hours :P But it's worth it. Im excited, first time meeting him at the airport alone. I can kiss him and not be contious of one of our parents standing there watching lol A whole month, 3 months apart has gone by fast, and in a long distance its not that long apart. But i've missed him so much. So finally down to two weeks! Seeing him this month! Woo! So happy!
Right now I had just finished lesson 1, on to lesson 2! Nathan purchased me a year membership to a online culinary course. Pre-preparation you can say. lol surprised me with this today, so i plan to get a jump start!
Lately I been so spoiled, hes just done this and ontop of that he let me have fun creating personal photo gifts thats on its way ( I made a notebook for college with his picture on it and some inspirational words from him) And then he got me a huge love poster. Bought a custom clock for my grandma, given me gold lol and other treasures. Just i feel like every few days theres something in the mail, and he has the nerve to say he doesn't spoil me! Crazy boy... but even so.... I do love it, the attention he still gives me, that he sits and does all this thinking about me. I think the long distance puts in perspective how much he does do for me. Works to save up for all our plane tickets, and trips and just, mhmm im a lucky girl. I found me a keeper. Love my man so much, kay sorry i'll stop gushing. Anyways praying and hoping for good news!
Anyways, have an awesome month with Nathan soon and I hope everything works out!!!
Good luck on everything! Have fun with Nathan.
