Since some people have been actively concerned about my health I thought I'd let everyone know how the orthopedic doctor visit went and just what my "new chance" is. (though some already know)

Basically turns out my knee DID dislocate (this diagnosis after he has to knock my kneecap out of place, bend my elbow at an ungodly angle, make me touch my thumb to my forearm and bend back my fingers to confirm I am hypermobile) and because I didn't rest after it occurred, the kneecap clunked around and wreaked havoc which explains why my entire leg hurts. He told me I COULD go back to work, but only if the work was sedentary (i.e. sitting down) which CC's does not have. If my manager can't make up a job for me I'm going to lose it because this is currently "until further notice" with me now going to physical therapy twice weekly. My mom says technically they can hold my job for me up to a month and they'd tread lightly because the injury occurred on company time, but considering I'm a two-day trainee, I don't think it'll happen.

I'm free of my crutches, but I can't walk very far or stand idly without pain and the pain pills I have don't do squat.

Anyway, on to my good news. Today was actually the day my SO, Hattie, had off though we didn't have a tea party because he was having trouble with his computer freezing and overheating. Still we got to talk and the subject of a visit was brought up. I asked him when he'd have time and he said January/February would be when his schedule cleans up enough for time off. It wouldn't be early January like I wanted, but I think soon within a month or two I'll be able to see him at last! I want to shoot for late January so it'll still be my birthday month (he jokingly suggested March, haha) but I may see about waiting until February and if I could get time with him around Valentine's Day. We'll have to discuss it more when he gets time again and is more sure about his schedule, but it gives me hope again.
