The details count, folks.

I'm beginning to worry about this entire trip. Hattie's workload hasn't slowed down (he hasn't been online since 2 weeks ago and we last spoke a week ago) and I really need it to. Not only because I miss him, but I need to get his help on where I'll be staying and him picking me up from the airport. When we tried back in May to visit one another he told me he could get me a good discount on one of the hotels associated with Disney, which would be nice. I can't stay at his apartment due to his roommates (who are also why I can't mail him things anymore so I have a shitton of gifts to give him) so a hotel's the only way to go. Being the off season even last minute should be fine but I want to get all this done to ease my worries.

If I could get hold of him for just a while and settle all this I think I'd sleep better at night. I can't even get him to text me his damn shirt size. Gah.

  If I end up having to pay full price I'm just gonna go to a regular hotel. Disney hotels are major expensive and I don't have enough money to pay for 7 nights' worth and I don't think me saying "hey I know so'n so who's x at the park, can I get a discount" to them is gonna work. I may just look up hotels in the area and keep their numbers on hand in case. But yeah, seeing about reservations isn't a bad idea instead of winging it.

  What I would do if I were you is I would concentrate a bit more on looking at regular hotels, and have the Disney hotel as a backup. It would be amazing, like you said to have that, but I think if you had the backup of the other hotel, then you may be able to sleep better at night, then if your SO contacts you and says you can stay at a Disney hotel, hey, that's even better.
  I've personally haven't dealt with a lotta hotels, but would it be possible for you to find a hotel you like, book it and then cancel it without that much of a fee, if the Disney hotel pulls through? if you have it booked then you'll be a lot less stressed.
  I apologize if this is all over the place...my brain tends to go everywhere and sometimes not make sense sometimes x)

  Yeah, I think I may look into hotels in the area and like I told Eternity, keep their numbers on hand. As far as I know cancellation fees vary from hotel to hotel, some have them, some don't, but I can't imagine them being terribly expensive. I just would prefer the Disney hotel for the fact I'd get a discount and it'd hopefully be cheaper than if I stayed at a regular hotel. Plus I'm not even sure if my SO wants to pay for a hotel for me or just help me with it so there's that. Lack of communication's kinda frazzling my brain.
