My karma needs to get its act together. Either that or someone enjoys seeing me upset/in a flying rage.

First off I hadn't been able to get hold of Hattie since my birthday, which was the 7th, so for nearly 2 weeks I've been texting him every other day or every two days, with no reply. Last night I got mad and texted at around midnight "you know I feel like I'm texting a brick wall" and went to sleep mad as could be and hurt that he wasn't replying. At 8 this morning I get a reply and turns out somewhere along the line my messages are being eaten and he never received any of my text messages save for the last one. We tried talking for two hours but I kept having to resend my messages and wait for his "did you send something back?" messages. I THINK we got it cleared up by him turning his phone off and on again as I had to do that before when I wasn't receiving a friend's texts, but we'll see.

But just when I thought everything was A-OK, I get a text at lunch saying he may not have Valentine's Day off. I'm gonna be there between the 8th and 16th so him not being off is a big deal. For one, it's gonna ruin everything I had planned for him since he's told me all his V-Days have been bad. Two, it ruins his plans to take me out to make up for forgetting my birthday. Three, IT'S VALENTINE'S DAY. I understand the park gets busy with couples that day but surely they could do without him, right? I wish I could talk to his manager, it's not fair that I spent so much money on a ticket and am flying 623 miles to see him for only a week and they want to waffle on his requested off time. That's bull.

I'd ask what else could go wrong against this trip but I'm scared of the answer.
