I HAD TO ASK HOW IT COULD GET WORSE.

So at random tonight I asked Hattie about my staying arrangements. He assumed I was booking a resort. I looked into them to see if I could indeed do this.

$1900. No I'm not kidding. Even for the resort alone and not the park tickets it was in the upper thousands. Now, people, I live on a fixed income. I literally live off of $1000 a month for both my mom and I and our rent alone's $750. I cannot afford a resort hotel. I told Hattie this and the price, which he was not aware of, and so I looked into hotels in the area. I found one that's $42 a night with cont. breakfast and though the reviews aren't great, so long as the mattress isn't a rock I'm happy.

I told Hattie about the place and he replies "I feel dumb for not noticing your living arrangements." Meaning he didn't realize I'm dirt poor and the $240 I spent on a plane ticket is a shitton of money to me. So now I've realized everything's NOT settled with our planning this trip (mainly he wanted me to plan it, I've never HAD to plan trips nor take money into account this heavily) and I'm beginning to regret ever suggesting it because it's not like we can magically have time to plan out every detail. I've got 3 weeks to put everything in gear and make sure I can actually afford this trip and I have no idea how to do it.
