Hy!

It's been a while since I last posted, but for a long time, there was not much to tell about the planning..

We had a location (a small castle), the church, the priest, the day. Also: colours (purple and green) and "theme" (fairy tales)

And pretty soon after, my dress

here's a link to a model wearing it.... I fell in love with it the first time I ever tried dresses and bought it the next day!

We will have around 115 or 120 people total, around 20 of them traveling to be there from Mexico!!! We are so happy that so many people can come, even if it's crazy expensive right now . I'm so glad my boyfriend has his immediate family with him on that important day in our lives! (although he wishes that everyone could come)

A lot of lazyness got to me a while ago about all this organizing and planning, but I got over it :P

We had the invitations ready pretty quickly, because we wanted to bring them on our trip to Mexico for Christmas to invite everyone personally! We love them, my cousin designed them after some brainstorming together... maybe I can post a picture later on!

Other stuff we can check off our (my) list:
  • find caterer and try food, decide more or less what we want (both mexican and austrian dishes)
  • flowers and table decorations (big silver candle holders - so pretty)
  • car for the day (black old-timer)
  • music: singers for church (+decided on songs), traditional austrian group for the outside "party" before dinner, evening band
  • fotographer
  • cake (more or less, need to coordinate something, then we'll order it)
  • booked our room for the night (on castle grounds)
  • booked everything for the civil ceremony (only the translation of the mexican documents is missing)
  • bought: all the accesoires to go with the dress, shoes, underwear, make-up
  • SUIT!!! (he looks so freaking handsome in it <3)
  • 2 meetings with priest already (now got to look for texts for the religious ceremony)
  • booked our "marriage-trainee-course" (a one-day seminar you have to do before you can get married by church)
  • bought our rings (actually we bought them during our holidays in Mexico, but I ordered another one back here that fits better with his ring)
  • about to book dancing classes
  • looking for translater for the "whole day" (we will see how we will do that)
  • bought stuff for "photo-booth"
  • tried my hairstyle for the day

I think that's pretty much it....
Need to figure out some printing stuff still and guest book!

If I remember to write more, I'll just add it here, but for now that's it

Hope you are all doing fine and are happy with your SOs!!

completely forgot to write about honeymoon plans:
We would like to go "north" more precisely Scottland or England or Wales or Ireland, looking through magazines right now, but everything is so expensive (and we really don't have money - wedding will be mostly paid by my parents and I'm very grateful for that)

How much can I justify to spend on a honeymoon? For me, I think, it should be somewhat special, not like any other holiday you could make whenever... What do you think?
