I dislike my English Professor! >.<*

Why in the world is my english professor such a pain in the friggin neck? she expects us to hand in essays that are perfect in every way! she doesnt hand out a rubric or explains to us how she grades our papers. I am not sattisfied with my 85 and 86 on two essays that i feel i deserve a higher grade on! I worked my buttocks off on it!

My lit. professor doesnt give me such a hard time! She even wrote a comment on my paper saying that for a freshman my essays are almost that of a Senior! Yea i have some grammar issues but I dont think that should be the basis of my grade!!!! >.<*

and the nerve she has to write down and say...your paragraohs are too long!!!! THEY LOOK LONG BECAUSE THEY ARE DOUBLE SPACED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  Did your professor ever tell you the formatting you're to use and what she expects? If there's a student getting higher grades in her class that you feel comfortable speaking with, perhaps you could ask what 'writing style' they use or if they could proofread your stuff, even if for a small fee? Every teacher has their own opinions about writing and how to properly utilize the English language and its vast vocabulary of complicated sentence structure and strung-out words and wording so where one says you're an average, another will praise you.
  
  And did she mean too long as in the actual number of sentences in each paragraph, i.e. the appearance or the content within in regards that it could have been broken up into smaller paragraphs for the sake of transferring thought correctly? Either way, no writer is ever perfect, no essay is ever perfect. I have the awful habit of inventing similes and metaphors most people don't understand and my teachers often criticized me for it, but it's merely how my brain is wired in regards to visualization. So long as you're passing, to hell with her.

  you should go to your professors office hours and tell them to explain to you why you received the grade you got, and what they can recommend for getting an A. That will show initiative on your part, and she has to help you improve your grade, that is her job. GO TO OFFICE HOURS! NOW!

  jajajajaja yea i was just sooooo pissed off when i strted blogging but now im like to hell with her! i have my style of writting and i am going to get that B+ or A that I deserve...but what has me irritated is not her but a classmate who is an extremist...he believes the USA has no flaws. -________-
  
  ugh, but anyways yea im going to email her bcuz its too long of a walk to her darn office, and its cold outside so im going to articulate a well composed email. I dont even know if that made sense lol.
  
  Yea I tend to make uop similes and metaphors too XD and that is what has led many professor and teachers to like my writting...so I guess im just mad at the fact that this professor cant appreciate my style of writting. lol
