This passed weekend I drove down to PA to visit my girlfriend and we had the time of our lives. It started off with me meeting her and her family at a skating rink for some event for her brothers' school. That was kind of awesome cause we've never done anything ALL of us together as a "family", with her little brothers and both her parents. I officially feel part of the family.

Saturday, Allie and I drove down to Newark NJ, where we had a hotel room booked, and we headed to NYC for the day. She had never been, and it's been a dream of ours to go together. We finally made that dream come true! It was also the first time went went away somewhere together, alone. After a full day of visiting the city, walking around and fangirling over SVU stuff lol we had her bday dinner reservations at Guy Fieri's restaurant in Times Square and then we headed back to the hotel...I'll leave those details out...lol But what I can say is that we connected in a way we never had before. It was intense and amazing and I fell for her even more...I didn't think that was even possible.

Sunday was her official Birthday so we headed back in to the city for more touristy stuff and in the after noon we went to Carlo's Bakery to get her Cake and some Cannolis! If you watch Cake Boss, it's his bakery. My SO is studying to be a pastry chef so we had to go! hehe

The weekend was a dream come true and it was really hard to see it end and even harder to leave. It is SO hard not to just tell her to come home with me. But we have to stay positive and strong. She lives MUCH closer now, so I can't complain too much. I get to see her more often and I'm able to drive instead of flying. My wallet likes that a lot. lol

Anywho, I could talk about her for hours...so I better stop now. lol
