Our prenup paperwork is finally done, we'll be going to the embassy to get it notarized the week after next. So the plan is to get married in late December, probably the 22nd or 29th. Neither of us have our immediate families here so we are going to go small. We've already done the big Malian wedding for our religious wedding 2 years ago. And since his extended family has been a bit two-faced to us, we'd rather just not include them. So it'll probably just be us and the 2 witnesses for the mayor's office and then we'll do a BBQ at our house for maybe 20ish friends afterwards.
So since it's more of an elopement (kinda), there aren't so many details to worry about.
BBQ: sheep brochettes, salad, drinks (soda and beer) and maybe a cake
Hair: I am planning to get my hair done like I did for our religious wedding because I really liked it.

Dress This is a bit harder. I don't want to go big because I have a wedding dress that I already bought and love in the USA and we'll use that for a future wedding party in the US.
So I was thinking of just buying pretty fabric and having a dress made. I have a really great tailor who can copy dress in a picture. So here are some ideas-and I'd love some feedback (keep in mind, that my dress won't end up looking like these internet dresses since the fabric will be different- so we're going for shape and cut here)
1. Copy a dress that the tailor already made me:

2. This dress but longer, like down to my knees

3. This dress.
4. This dress, somehow I'd have to add up a bit more cleavage coverage.
5. Or this dress but knee-length
Thoughts? Other ideas? Colors you think would be awesome?
Other clothes: Will probably do a nice bazin for my SO, the color will depend on the color of my dress. To give you an idea of what bazin fabric looks like, here is my SO on Tabaski (holiday):

And for our daughter, we'll just get her a dress made out of my fabric or something that matches.
Other details:
-Pictures:We'll probably just have a friend take pictures at the park or maybe hire a professional photographer (although they usually aren't so great around here)
-Rings: We'll be ordering these from the US and having my parents bring them in February when they visit.
-Announcements: Make some kind of picture email announcement for friends/family in the US or should we do a website? If we did a website, we could put up pictures before and announce it and then add wedding pictures after.
Any other wedding details I am totally forgetting?
Is this blog way over the word limit? Let's find out!
Personally I'd have a professional photographer. We made the mistake of asking a friend to take the pictures at my sister's wedding and as a result, there weren't that many of them, very few including our extended family, and the quality wasn't that great.
My favorite is the fourth, but I also like the first. The detailing at the top is super cute.
