Just wanted to give a quick update just in case some of you are wondering:
Things went well, according to my husband (I wasn't allowed in). He answered all the questions and she took our additional documents. He said that the consular officer was really nice and laughed with him. She looked at all of our pictures and asked Rokia a few questions (her name, age, who she lives with).

The lady said that everything was good but she just had to verify his juvenile criminal record (I'm guessing it's cause the one we sent in isn't super official looking). She said that we should hear from them next week.

So hopefully that is the case- we're trying to stay positive even though we know these things can take longer than they originally say. At least they didn't ask for DNA testing or a new co-sponsor!

Thanks for thinking of me yesterday and I'll be sure to update you guys when we get news!
