My boyfriend hasn't been to America yet. And with his lack of job, he doesn't know when he'll get to be able to. His lack of money and current inability to be the provider is driving him up the wall crazy, and the worst part is you can't even comfort someone from overseas about the lack of progress in establishing a life. :/

So I've decided that when he gets up in the morning, I'm going to convince him to let me buy him a ticket to visit here. It's the perfect time - he's just graduated school, he's got a few months til serious spring and summer hits, which is when the jobs will start cropping up for real, and then I won't have to pull him away from a job to come visit - he can do it beforehand. He's got some money saved, and he can use that to buy incidentals while here. I've got a place for us to stay, eat, etc, so it's not a big deal.

And frankly, we're both sinking into depression because of how much we miss each other. The only other option was going to consist of me probably revisiting him first in Feb-Mar, which meant 10 months between being with each other.

Waiting longer to visit each other when I can easily afford his ticket is ridiculous. It's not that expensive, and it's not going to really set back my goal to move there in the long run.

So I'm going to get him to agree to it. Wish me luck, he's very stubborn in his pride.
