What is with the slew of posts lately saying 'don't judge me' even as they ask for advice?
By definition for asking for advice, some judging is going to happen. It'd be better if they said 'if you don't have helpful advice, keep it to yourself'.
Don't get me wrong, rudeness is unacceptable, but I suspect some people just don't like hearing opinions that don't coincide with the answers they want.

#13paulawriteslove commentedNovember 18, 2010, 06:53 PMEditing a commentI know what you guys are talking about. When I try to voice my advice I always try to find the nicest way to say it and probably retype is a few times before I post. But I have been selective to posts that I respond to as well.

#14blankita719 commentedNovember 18, 2010, 07:22 PMEditing a commentIt's kind of sad how it does seem to be changing. I try and only give advice in posts where I feel it might be helpful, and then I shy away from certain topics simply because I don't think what I have to say will be listened to. You can sort of tell how the thread is going within the first few comments. I can understand the feeling of not wanting to be judged, but how are you going to actually learn anything if you don't have some differing opinions?
