Although I had to stay up until 11:30 to do it, I got to talk to my boyfriend last night, which was lovely. I tumbled into bed after midnight, and since we were iced in, I actually got to sleep in until 8 AM, where I promptly got up and worked from home.

It'd be nice if I had a real snow day, but with grants due this Friday, I don't have a chance. Ice rat-tat-tated against the windows all day; now we have flakes. Soon it'll be a blizzard. I can't help but wonder how much will be on the ground when I wake up.

This morning, I got to say good morning, I love you, and goodbye to my boyfriend - nothing more, because he had to run to work.

The whole half hour the previous night and getting to kiss him goodbye were so wonderful. Generally we only get to send a few gchat messages, and I wake up to an email every day, but no Skype until the weekend.

The cat is outta the bag at work - the staff all know that I'm leaving. It sounds like they're going to offer me some extra work for when I leave - basically consultant work, so I'll be able to get a little bit of cash from that. Yay.

Ate delicious foodstuffs all day today - yummy leftovers, and now I'm relaxing and refreshing my work email every half hour to see if we are going to close tomorrow or not.

Every day he comes back and tells me how well work is going. I'm so glad to see how happy he is with his job - he blew his sales goal out of the water yesterday, and he got a positive, very good review from his boss on his first few weeks at his job, which left him feeling really good.

Can't wait for the rest of this month - so many things to look forward to.
