My SO and I got back from Amsterdam on Friday. It was wonderful. We hadn't gone away in almost a year and with us both working (well sort of, with the hospital and holiday I only ended up working 5 days in Oct) we don't do too much or someone is always tired. The weather was nice and we managed to get along the whole time!
If any of you watched the Magic school bus when you were little, do you remember how they go inside the human body? We found a museum shaped like a giant human and you got to go inside the whole thing and see all the organs and stuff, it was like a childhood dream come true! Haha

I am going back home to Canada for five weeks. The flight was way more then I wanted to pay and it cost me £30 to get a copy of my medical records but after talking to my SO and my mom and her talking to my Doc back home we kind of all agree its worth going home to find out what is going on with me and get it sorted. I fly home Wednesday and my mom will be taking me to the emergency as suggested by my doc to see if I can get some scans and stuff done asap. If it turns out everything is okay, then I guess it will be a nice break to see everyone back home.

I think it is going to be harder leaving my SO this time, I actually quite enjoy his company at the moment, It was a slightly different story the last time. I am excited to bring back some winter clothes though, cause right now I have a wardrobe full of tanks and tees

Oh right, I called my mom the night we got home to tell her we were home and I found out her and my Dad were in the hospital. The one side of my Dads face swelled up and became completely dead. They said it is Bell's palsy and because it was caught soon he should recover so that also makes it slightly easier to go home knowing I'll see him. I remember landing in Canada last time and immediately wishing I was back in London.

I don't think there is anything else to say that isn't me blabbering, so I will leave it at that.
