Work
So I've been at the restaurant for a few weeks now, I really like it. People are awesome, tips are sweet! I've been working mostly days which are a bit slow but it is really nice to have the evenings off.
School
I've been accepted!!!! I am going to school in the fall! Which is super weird cause I never thought I'd go back and I'm not sure if I remember how to study or anything but I'm really excited! Can I say back to school shopping!? I also got my taxes back in the mail and got a big fat $2000 check which will pay for a third of school so that is awesome too.
The 6'6 tall man!
So after hanging out with the aforementioned guy in my last blog, I reactivated my dating profile. Not looking for anything but just bored. I started talking to this guy who said he was only looking for friends in his profile. We talked for a bit and then he disappeared for a couple weeks. I then got a random message from him saying work had been hectic (he works out of town) and he finally had a day off. We exchanged a few more messages before I told him I was done with the website but he could have my number if he wanted to continue talking. We continued talking via text for a bit and then he asked me to go for a drink when he was back in town.
So I met him for a drink, he is bloody tall! I feel very tiny around him. We had a good time. Then the next time we hung out we went to the water park,, which also made for an interesting 2nd hangout. I pretty much starved myself for the three days prior haha.
He got back from his days at work early in the week and I was going for dinner at a friends and to play games. I asked if he wanted to come. I figured all the ways I've done things in the past didn't work out so gotta mix it up a bit. My friends really liked him, gotta get that approval! haha He seemed to get along with them and it was fun.
On Tuesday we both had the day off so we went to the mountains for the day to go snowboarding. The weather was sooo nice! We were able to keep a conversation for the 16 hours we were together. Found out that his bff is is ex, which I know rational me should be like oh that says a lot about a person and that they aren't assholes, but girl me is unsure about it as it's never something I've experienced before. I also told him he needed to stop referring to her as his ex "I'm going to visit my ex" No, you are going to visit your friend. I told him that might save him some grief in the future after he told me one girl he was seeing didn't take too kindly to that....ya think? haha
I forgot my ipod in his car after the trip so I text him in the morning and he ended up bringing it by my house, he said it was because he was on his way to the mall to get his phone fixed but he got the opening time wrong and had an hour to spare so he hung out with me. It was really lucky I decided to put clothes on that morning.
He is gone again for work and will be back next week. He asked if he could take me on an actual date when he gets back. It's kind of exciting, he seems really nice. And I think there is some chemistry there.
I don't know if this is really crazy but I won a free hotel stay and ski tickets at my work christmas party and it expires at the end of April, so I asked if he wanted to come, acknowledging that he still could be a serial killer and that it may be a weird question so soon but he seems really excited about it so we are going on the 16-18th. I booked two double beds, don't want to jump the gun yet or anything as we've not even kissed! I kind of like it that way though, I told myself whoever I 'saw' next I'd want to take it slow with. I think I've had enough random sex for now.
Soooo ya. The only things that might be strikes against him are he seems dead against kids and I'm unsure. He hates cooking, as do I, problem? aaaaand he wants to get a tattoo on his side of a lumberjack riding a shark....wtf? He has a appointment in May for it...perhaps I could sway him otherwise?
I felt like I had much more to write about but apparently I do not.
How tall are you? If you say 4'10", I'm gonna laugh. So much.
