So, I applied online to a bunch of retail places over the weekend, and on Sunday I got a call back to schedule an interview. Unfortunately, she called me at around 9:15PM, so I didn't pick it up (plus, I didn't recognize the #) and left me a message. I called her back yesterday, and after a bit of phone tag (just missing each other about twice, lol), we caught each other and I scheduled my interview. Well, I had my interview today at 1PM. I was a little late though because I got lost in the parking lot, damn shopping plazas, and I had to call her to find the store. But, my interview went well and she understood that I got lost, lol. I have orientation some time next week, I don't know when yet, but she said she'll let me know once she sees when everyone else is available. It's part-time since I have class, but I don't mind. I'm pretty happy. I'll be working at the DSW Shoes that's opening in my town, and I'll be training at the store that I had my interview in (30mins away).

The only bad thing is I'll probably have to work on weekends sometimes which will mess with my visits with my SO. I already told him it might happen. But, she did assure me that everyone always gets one weekend off a month to keep it fair, and that they rotate the schedule around. So, I just need to let her know ASAP during that month when I want the weekend off. I thought that was pretty cool. I didn't get to share the news with my SO because it seems he might've passed out as soon as he got home from work, and he's been sleeping ever since. I wanted to talk to him about the visits and if he'll actually start making the effort to come see me. We'll see. I'll have to see if we'll get to talk tomorrow.

Either way, I know I'll be happier once I get money and stop bleeding through my savings to pay my credit cards. I'll be making $9.25/hr (which is $1.00 above the minimum wage here in NJ, I like it). Also, I'll get a 30% discount!!!!! AHHH!!! I LOVE SHOES!!!! My one brother already got super excited about that. Lol. He likes shoes, and so does his wife.

But, yea, good news for once.

Also, the Fall semester for school started today, but I can only take 2 classes this semester (stupid pre-req's before I can take more) so I'm only in school Mon/Wed. Not bad at all. My first class is tomorrow. Plus, both my classes are with teachers I've already had.
