It's 8:23am on the first out of two days off in a row. I have no idea what to do with myself, and am feeling a little flat.
NaNo is done! Woo! But the book isn't, and I still have to edit book one. But, I just spent a month SOOOO focused on this that the last thing I actually want to do is write. I wonder if that makes me a bad person. Obi is pushing for me to keep up the trend of writing every day, because he knows I benefit from a good shove in the right direction, and he's only asking 500 words per day, which is a cakewalk honestly. But still. I have so much free time it's just ugh but the idea of actually using it to do this? *Sigh*
*Restless* Well, if all else fails there's a stack of dishes waiting for me.

#11Guest commentedNovember 30, 2010, 10:55 PMEditing a commentIt's really tough, I find I need a deadline to focus my scattered thoughts and get anything down on 'paper'. One of my friends always says to finish off a writing session by leaving a 'thread'. Don't finish a complete thought, sentence, or chapter at the end of a writing session. That way when you go to start again, the last thing you wrote is an unfinished sentence or thought and it's much easier to continue on that loose thread than think up a new thought or start a new sentence or chapter. It has worked amazingly well for me in the past.
