Today the NASA mission 'New Horizons' will flypast Pluto after leaving the Earth nine years ago. As a science geek this fascinates me but it has also got me thinking about what I've done in the past nine years whilst this has been travelling to Pluto.

In the past nine years (in no particular order!) I have:
- Graduated from University with a 1st class honours degree
- Completed postgraduate teacher training
- worked in three schools
- left teaching to work in mental health
- had a child - maybe that should have been first!
- watched her change from a baby to a toddler to an incredible young girl
- got married
- got divorced
- met my SO online and luckily many times in person
- learned to snowboard and been on a snowboarding holiday
- travelled to Italy
- been hospitalised
- recovered from illness and learned to manage my condition better
- moved house four times
- bought a house and sold a house
- ran the london marathon
- joined a political party
- stood for general election

I *think* that's all the major stuff althought I've probably forgotten something major.......I actually hope the next nine years are a bit more settled but it's incredible to think that all that time something has been on one journey.
