I am so fucked... (And pissed beyond comprehension)

All because of my Ex.

My daughter is still in Poland to finish school. My ex told me that I'll be able to take her here if I have a steady job for over three months and am able to live on my own with Oliwia.
I agreed because I didn't expect finding work will take me this long.

I was kinda hoping that my ex will change his mind but today he told me that he didn't change his mind.
If I don't get work (A full time or almost full time one) within the next few days he will not let me get Oliwia here.

Doesn't matter what she thinks, doesn't matter what I think, he set the rules and is not planning to budge an inch.
He has same parenting rights I have so he can make such demands.

I want to cry and scream and destroy.

I will play devil's advocate here (don't hate me!): He is her father and he needs to know that Oliwia is going to be taken care of when she moves to the UK. I don't know what kind of job your SO has, but for him to ask you to have a job to support her is not an outrageous request. I would try talking to him again, try making a deal, work out something that is more realistic if the job market is really this tough.

I obviously have no idea what it's like to have a kid, so please take this with a grain of salt, but I think as a parent you want the best for them.

I'm with snow. I really feel for you, it must be terrible to be separated from your child, but his requests don't sound unreasonable. It seems like his focus is stability for Oliwia and I think that's quite responsible of him. After all, you both want only the best for her. I hope you manage to find a job soon and this is not a problem anymore. Good luck xx
