Going Home

I've spent an amazing 4 weeks with my SO, in about an hour he's taking me to the airport for my journey back home

This is waaay harder than I thought it would be.

We went out last night and he had a breakdown in the car, i managed to keep it together but today is a lot harder. I know I'm going to cry, and then once i get home waiting for the next visit it going to be awful. He tried so many times last night to break up with me so I didn't have to deal with the distance again, I'm not letting him go so easily.

Going home after a visit is very hard. I've found something that works for me is planning for the next trip - setting a tentative date for us both to work toward, even if the date must be changed down the line. Know it's okay to cry your eyes out and feel sad for a bit. Then, try to throw yourself back into a busy schedule: hobbies, classes, work, or anything to help focus your time. You can always talk about it here, too.
