Not everyone is happy with the decision I have made which is to go ahead and book plane tickets for a 6 week visit and to resign from my job shortly before I go.
In part, yes, it is a silly decision because I'm losing my only source of income. However I work 16 hours a week trying to support myself and while I live with my parents it's a bit easier I want to save enough money to learn to drive and move out.
So I'm going to resign on good terms with my boss, visit my SO for what will probably be the last time for a while and then find a job when I get back to the UK.
I'm doing as much overtime as I can at the moment to bulk up my savings, I need it, especially since I bought my plane tickets last night (YAY)
Hopefully things will go well, it's looking like a better week already.
