I've been looking for weeks for a decent insurance policy. I'm a very clumsy person and I'm going to be away in the States for 6 and a half weeks so the insurance is badly needed.

I managed to bag myself silver level travel insurance from Virgin with an added extra in case of natural disasters for £100.38 by doubling my excess.

It's highly unlikely i will have to claim on my insurance policy but in the event that it does I know I can still pay £120 in excess to get the help I need.

I think it's pretty organised, got emailed my information, sent a text message with it and they are going to mail me a certificate, a little card with the info and a policy wording book.

Not too bad in my opinion.

Now I have peace of find that I'm covered and safe in the event of anything.
