So Matt and I decided we would both start writing in journals. Then on the 10th of each month (We started dating Feb 10th), we would mail them to each other along with a few other things... He asked me for a bra and I asked him for boxers. I'll probably include a few other things, maybe I'll make him a bracelet that he can wear. I hope he likes it. Maybe I could make him some mixed CD's that he can play while he's driving as well. I was also thinking of mailing him a few things that are extremely Canadian so he can get an idea of what it's like here. It's too bad I can't mail snow, he always goes on about how he wishes he could see snow just once. I guess they don't get it very often in South Africa, haha.

I've seriously been trying to find a way to call him for free. I've found one way but I'll have to try it out when I get home. Most long distance apps are for Canada and the USA, not South Africa. I also have free long distance to like 75 countries around the world but not South Africa. It's seriously starting to annoy me... I don't have enough money to afford calling cards. I recently started trying to find some money. I figured if he's going to come visit in the summer then I should try to help him out with the cost. He says it'll be about $3000 CAD to fly here and back. He already has quite a bit saved up, it's just a matter of him staying with me. I'm not quite sure if my parents would approve of him living with us for a couple months during the summer... I don't even know if they would approve of us dating in the first place. I guess I'll have to talk to them about it. I had a foreign exchange student stay with us, so I'm not quite sure what their reaction would be... If anything maybe I could find him another place to stay somewhere close to my place.

*Sigh* this long distance thing really blows. He says he wants me to finish university before we make any decisions about closing the distance. I really want to live with him in South Africa, but he really wants to live with me here in Canada. It's quite the dilemma, haha. I'm sure we'll figure something out. Maybe we can meet halfway somewhere in Europe!
