Last night after work I went shopping for a professional-looking top to wear for my interview today. I have some appropriate tops that I'm 10 lbs. too heavy for, so this was an emergency.
I normally shop at thrift stores, but they didn't have anything that looked nice enough. I went to Kohls, and found 3 different tops that were on sale so I took them home so my husband could help me decide which one to wear and keep! (I NEVER buy that many things at once lol! I was afraid he'd be shocked!)
So when he got home from work I tried them all on for him, and he is so adorable! He LOVED two of them and told me to keep them both, and then he started talking about he needs to get a better job so I can go clothes shopping more often!
His saying that made me feel so loved!
Money is so tight right now, but I needed to class it up a little for my interview. And his being so impressed was just so cute!
He was more than happy for me to model all of them for him so he could help me choose which one to wear to my interview hahahaI'm too heavy for most of my regular clothes, and most of them are outdated as I generally buy used, and haven't overhauled my wardrobe in a few years…
I know it won't happen anytime soon, but the fact that he brought it up and wants to buy me nice things made me happy
*fingers crossed* that this job is as awesome as it sounds!
